Provide mentoring, networking, promotional and learning opportunities for females crafting a career
Communicate a positive message with optimism, enthusiasm and conviction
Industry-focused:
Demonstrate environmentally responsible design and construction principles
Raise awareness of small-lot housing and sustainable design principles
Inject a new boost of confidence into the building industry
Create awareness of job opportunities for women
Promote workplace health and safety
Break down stereotypes and misconceptions
Highlight the significant contribution women deliver in their various vocations
The design brief was set to deliver a small lot housing project with a 12 metre frontage with the Garage located at the rear.
Expanded polystyrene external walls, solar hot water and a Photovoltaic grid that reduces the homes
needs for external energy sources down to zero
were essetential elements
Adding to this; the use of Cbus complete home automation, zero VOC paints and cabinetry solid tops along
with sound sediment control and waste minimisation best practice
ensured that this high profile
project truely sets an example for efficient living with environmental accountability
